HOW TO SUBSCRIBE
Who should subscribe and how:
Should subscribe to RAEcycle (or to another collective scheme for the financing of WEEE management) the companies which:
- the Legislative decree 151/2005 identifies as "producers", meaning by producer any person who imports electrical and electronic equipments (EEE) into the domestic market
- the Legislative decree 188/2008 identifies as "producers", meaning by producer any person who places batteries and accumulators on the domestic market for the first time.
RAEcycle manages all different WEEE categories and producers can subscribe for all the WEEE categories relevant to their activity (see Annex 1B of Legislative decree 151/2005). Companies reselling EEE under their own brand and companies importing into the domestic market EEE produced by other suppliers, including products made in EU, shall also join a collective scheme.
Retailers which sell EEE to final users may also subscribe.
Subscribing to RAEcycle, the producers not only comply with a law requirement but also can obtain qualified support free of charge on legal compliance and/or technical assistance in the enrollment procedure to the NATIONAL REGISTER OF EEE PRODUCERS (art. 14 of D.Lgs. 151/2005 and art. 3 of DM 185/2007), and to the NATIONAL REGISTER OF BATTERIES AND ACCUMULATORS PRODUCERS (art. 14 of D.lgs. 188/2008) and in the required periodical reporting.

How to enroll to the National Register of EEE Producers and to the National Register of Batteries and Accumulators Producers after subscribing to RAEcycle
The procedure to enroll to both Registers shall be performed through the portal www.impresa.gov.it using a Smart Card or a Business Key as digital signature.
The enrollment procedure to the National Register of EEE Producers requires the payment of three administrative fees which need to be sent as attachment during the procedure.
First administrative fee: 168,00 €
Second administrative fee: 30,00 €
Third administrative fee: 14,62 €
The enrollment procedure to the National Register of Batteries and Accumulators Producers requires the payment of two administrative fees which need to be sent as attachment during the procedure.
First administrative fee: 168,00 €
Second administrative fee: 14,62 €
RAEcycle is entitled to perform the enrollment procedure on behalf of foreigner producers who do not have a legal representative in Italy.
How to obtain the registration number to the National Register of EEE Producers and to the National Register of Batteries and Accumulators
Once the enrollment procedure is verified, normally after 30 days from the enrollment’s date, it is possible to download from the portal www.impresa.gov.it the registration number to the National Register of EEE Producers or to the National Register of Batteries and Accumulators Producers. The registration number shall be reported in all commercial documents as required by D.Lgs. 151/2005 and D.Lgs. 188/2008.
The number is also available in the public area of the National Registers accessible at www.impresa.gov.it.
